the frogs watched me, spooky
as i danced round the pond
the pond i was drowned upon
Just because I wanted to boogie
the frog laughed
so i kept on dancing
then he joined me
in the mud beneath the pond
mmm, groovy
hello
kiss me
I am the greatest in the world

lazy eyed, I feel in flux like a blur
a solitary ripple in a calm pool
a single part of a complex tool
red lines trace the outlines of speed
this motion won't take me closer to Her
Yet she is everything i need
A twisted turgid lump of fur

a frozen glance locked on the curtain
as the stillness echoed in the air
I feel the heat of someone
but my eyes tell me no one is there

sometimes you just have to
play the game
live the lie
feel the shame
while others cry.

nothing lasts
it will pass
the smoke will clear
it's just fear
